Check Your Grain Direction
Always ensure the grass blades (grain) are facing towards the main viewing area. This prevents the "shiny" look and makes the grass appear lush and deep green.
Don't Skimp on Compaction
The most common cause of dips and wrinkles is a poorly compacted base. Rent a vibrating plate compactor and go over your base at least 3 times in different directions.
